things seem good!

We are loaded up with a 24-70mm on the Sony for landscape shots, the Polaroid for fun, and the Leica as the street shooter.

I brought a mix of comedic and nonfiction literature.

this flight is basically bedtime, we have to land at like 6am local London time, then connect to Inverness.

We are gonna miss the little orange men, but they are in good hands with our friend Natalia, who is staying every other night. That way they don’t get too lonely.

We saw David Byrne’s new show last night before leaving to send ourselves off

Highly recommend! It’s a wonderful love letter to New York and a show of love in many ways. I really, really enjoyed it. About 2 hours and no break and beautifully put together.

We are flying on a 777 300 with British airways and expect to have a ~5hr flight with a half hour of dawdling because we can’t land before 6am. Which I find to be a hilarious anti-feature of an airport in a major international hub. But it has a nice configuration, we got 2 seats on a window like a nice normal regional flight and though its back of plane its enough room and not a cluster fuck.

In flight meal comes soon - let’s see what they have to offer!

I downloaded the first 3 episodes of the new season of the morning show and the whole season of the studio on Apple TV+ to watch if I can’t sleep.

Food came!

It was shockingly good.

Now, a 4hr nap and waking up to connect.
